‘Born’ in Sweden in 2011, indie-electro-pop duo Sameblod are already gearing up for the release of their debut album, Braided Memos later this month. To whet our appetites, Frederick Rundqvist and Mikael Mattisson have released the jubilant and vibrant “UR Road”.
Their debut EP, Our Future, which was released last year, was a much more chilled affair, full of controlled and precision electronica.
“UR Road” on the other hand is a much more carefree track. It’s flamboyant, animated, euphoric and uplifting. Joyously whistling away, happy and content with life. Its smile is infectious. Give it a listen, you’ll see what we mean.
