It’s the first of the month which can only mean one thing; it is time for a new track from rising Strangers. For the second of their planned six free downloads (one a month until Christmas) the band are giving us 3 and a half minutes of rousing electro-poppery in the form of “No Longer Lost”.
Like smashing a piñata, once opened up the goodies come pouring out, compulsive and groovy synth sounds with infectious beats and a stirring chorus. They call it ”a haunting tale of lust and obsession” and it features a cracking guest vocal from Charli Rouse that is a delicious ice-cream filling to the guys’ smooth dark chocolate dance-pop covering. It’s a musical choc-ice and it tastes wonderful. It’s fast paced, full of energy and marks yet another notch on Strangers’ ‘banging tune’ bedpost, if they have such a thing (we bet they do).
“No Longer Lost” follows the release last month of ”Sense Of Liberty” and it can be downloaded for free here.
