Right, we’ll level with you. We chose this tune purely for the name, absolutely 100% decided to listen to this based on the name and that was it. Luckily for us we are partial to a bit of minimalist melodic electronica and while it wasn’t what we were expecting, it’s what we got, and it’s rather good.
The closing track from Maxmillion Dunbar (or Max D if you’d prefer) forthcoming EP, Drizzling Glass, “Calvin & Hobbes” is a delicate trickle of electronic noodling and melody. Like droplets of water sliding down a stalactite of solid ice, finding their way past overhangs and protrusions down into the glacial pools below.
And not a stuffed tiger in sight…
