Merry Christmas

25 Dec

As is now the tradition on Alphabet Bands, we would like to take a moment to wish you all, each and every one of you, a very Merry Christmas. Thank you all for your love and support this year, it’s been an odd one as we haven’t blogged as much yet have still managed to exceed last year’s hit count so have an extra thank you for helping make that happen. Thank you.

As is also the tradition, we will celebrate this day by sharing a couple of Christmas songs for your enjoyment, as we’re sure you haven’t had enough of them by now, but we also have one last request this year.

Way back in January, with our BBFF (best blog friend forever) Breaking More Waves we undertook a charity blogathon that raised over £1,500 for cancer research. As it is the season of good will and all that, we’d like to take this opportunity to point you in the direction of someone else that has done something fantastic for charity, specifically for CoppaFeel, the breast cancer awareness charity.

Curated by Daisy Digital, It’s Coming On Christmas is a rather wonderful collection of festive covers and songs from some of our favourite artists. AND, most importantly, as well as getting a whopping 28 tunes for just £7, all proceeds go to a fabulous and deserving charity.

Should you be in the mood for giving on this day of joy, you can buy the album here.

And now onto the festive frolics and tunes.

Lovestarrs – “Tinsel (Christmas Song)”

Midas Fall – “Carol of the Infected”

Rae Morris – “Stay Another Day”

Erasure – “Silent Night”

Lisa Redford – “I Believe In Father Christmas”

Merry Christmas everyone, see you on the other side when our belly will be bulging and our blood type will be Rum.
