Alan Booth – “Clutch”

Alan Booth

Taken from his forthcoming EP, Australian producer Alan Booth’s “Clutch” is brooding, seductive electronic R&B at its finest.

The synths reach up from below, tugging at your ankle and plunging you helplessly into a dark swirl of emotional turmoil. It skitters and undulates, the soft flowing synth waves punctuated by an erratic schoal of glitchy digital beats. Deeper into the the depth of need and aching sensuality you go as the black and greys of the melody washes over you.

“Clutch” is heartfelt and tumultuous. Dripping in rich, treacle thick soulful vocals that grind up against beats like a sweaty couple in the half light of a club. It’s completely gorgeous and we cannot wait to see where it goes when his EP is released.
