After a few weeks off, it kind of feels like we’re back on it with writing, which we hope you agree that is a good thing. While we were off there were a fair few stonking tunes released from many a blog fave and it would be remiss of us not to give them a mention. So, starting now, we’re going to blitz a few of those tunes because a) we love them and b) we can and there is nowhere better to start than with our current pop Queen, Vérité.
The second track taken from her forthcoming EP, Living, “Constant Crush” follows the fabulous ”Underdressed” and is another stone cold beauty. Seductive and infectious, her voice is just perfect for this kind of intelligent, emotional but accessible pop style. It’s another shoulder bopping, side-to-side swaying gem that you just want to listen to again and again. Three EPs in and Vérité is yet to put a foot wrong. Superb stuff.
