Saveus – “Levitate Me”

Saveus

As is pretty much the norm these days, you can count the things we know about new Copenhagen based producer Saveus on one hand. Specifically that he has taken the name Saveus for his musical compositions and that he is based in Copenhagen. ‘Det er det’ as they say in Denmark.

Still, not knowing anything hasn’t stopped us from writing about music for the last three + years so it’s not about to get in the way now.

His debut single, “Levitate Me”, is a somewhat huge blend of indie, pop, dance, gospel choir and art rock. It’s a stadium set closing track, complete with fuck-off massive fireworks exploding with the chorus as the hands of the choir rise up and give praise to ripsnorting electronics and beats. It should be a huge summer festival banger but that would require a little slip of the mask and his secret identity to come out. We can but hope.

Well…. It’s not that hard. He’s name is Martin Hedegaard, he was a participant in x-factor Denmark in 2008 🙂 He’s from Ørum. And it’s not he’s debut cause he already made “Show the world” some years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuaD2I5jo34&list=PLlWF_-Dllxsa24ZVd-kWicCdqhoQsjVYV

Thanks Nadia, that is some great knowledge. I can see now where the infectious pop influences come from!
Now, if only we could get Martin to put “Levitate Me” back on Soundcloud 🙂
Still, we have this live performance of it to enjoy in the meantime…
